You’ll cross states, deserts, mountains, and volcanic landscapes while we take care of the logistics and the comfort on the road.

Day 1:
Lake Erie & Sunset on the Beach
Route: New York → Bellefonte → Erie, PA

Walk through Presque Isle State Park
Swimming and relaxing by the lake
Sunset Point — one of the most beautiful sunsets of the trip
Dinner at the iconic 1950s-style Sara’s Diner
Day 2:
Sand Dunes & Skyline Views
Route: Erie → Indiana Dunes National Park

Day 3:
The Long Haul & Surreal Road Art
Route: Indiana Dunes → Mitchell, SD

Day 4:
Badlands, Dinosaurs & Presidential Peaks
Route: Mitchell → Badlands → Wall Drug → Mount Rushmore → Custer

Day 6:
Yellowstone — Geysers, Rainbows & Wildlife

West Thumb geysers along Yellowstone Lake
Hayden Valley — bison sightings, maybe even bears

Day 7:
Lava Trails & Oregon Charm
Route: Yellowstone → Craters of the Moon → Bend, OR

Alien-like volcanic landscapes at Craters of the Moon

A long but scenic drive
Arrival in Bend — Oregon’s most charming adventure town
Day 8:
Rock Formations & Portland Finale
Route: Bend → Smith Rock State Park → Portland

Early morning hike at Smith Rock — canyon views and stillness
Option to walk Rim Trail or hike down to the river
Breakfast with one of Oregon’s best panoramic views
Arrival in Portland — trip ends beneath the Cascade Mountains
