California — five days along the ocean
The legendary Highway 1 from San Francisco to the cliffs of Big Sur. We'll see the Golden Gate from the best viewpoints, stroll through Carmel-by-the-Sea, stop at a waterfall that falls onto the beach and meet elephant seals on a wild shore. December is the quiet season: no crowds, soft sun and dramatic sunsets. All in a comfortable RV, in a small group.

The Golden Gate and Sausalito, Monterey and Carmel, the cliffs of Big Sur, McWay Falls and elephant seals — five days on America's most beautiful highway.

Day 1. San Francisco and the Golden Gate
We meet in San Francisco and load up the RV. The Golden Gate Bridge from the Battery Spencer lookout and a stroll along the Sausalito waterfront. Sunset over the bay and a night at the campground.

Day 2. Monterey and Carmel
We drive south along the ocean to Monterey — Cannery Row and sea lions by the pier. 17-Mile Drive with a view of the famous Lone Cypress. An evening in storybook Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Day 3. Big Sur
The most dramatic stretch of Highway 1: Bixby Creek Bridge above the cliffs. McWay Falls — a waterfall that drops right onto the beach. Pfeiffer Beach with its purple sand and rock arch at sunset.

Day 4. Elephant seals and Cambria
Piedras Blancas — the beach where elephant seals gather in December. A walk along Moonstone Beach in the town of Cambria. Dinner by the campfire and a night by the ocean.

Day 5. Back to San Francisco
A slow morning by the ocean. The drive north through the wine valleys of Central California. In the evening we're back in San Francisco.

Starlink the whole way — internet even in the national parks. Bisha shoots photos and video, so you'll come home with tons of content, and Danila fixes anything that breaks. We love driving, hiking trails and biking along the ocean — if you like an active vacation, you're one of us.

No, you don't have to drive — our experienced driver is behind the wheel for the whole route.
The deposit is $1,000 per person to hold your spot. The balance is due no later than 14 days before the tour starts.
Up to 4 people — a small group, and Bisha leads this tour herself.
Accommodation in the RV, transportation, all breakfasts, lunches and dinners, water and drinks on board, park entries and 17-Mile Drive, campgrounds, internet and a guide. Flights to San Francisco, insurance and personal expenses are not included.
No, we sleep in the RV — with air conditioning, comfortable beds and all the amenities.
Yes. If you cancel more than 30 days before the tour, we refund the deposit minus a small admin fee. In case of force majeure beyond your control, the deposit carries over to another tour. We'll work out the details with you individually.
