We set off from Miami for Key West — the southernmost point of the USA — for four days of ocean views, beaches and lighthouses. We'll ride through the wild Everglades, cross 42 bridges over the ocean and see where the Atlantic meets the Gulf of Mexico. All in a comfortable RV, in great company.

Day 1. The Everglades and a bridge over the ocean
An airboat ride through the mangroves and the “river of grass” of the Everglades — the only place on Earth where alligators and crocodiles live side by side. Then Seven Mile Bridge, with seven miles of open ocean all around. In the evening — the beach and a sunset swim in the Florida Keys.

Day 2. The southernmost point and Hemingway's house
Southernmost Point — just 90 miles to Cuba. Hemingway's house with its six-toed cats, the lighthouse, Duval Street and Fort Zachary Taylor beach. A walk through the old town and its conch houses. Evening — sunset and cocktails on board.

Day 3. Snorkeling on a coral reef
Morning at John Pennekamp Coral Reef, the first underwater park in the US: snorkeling on a living reef, all gear provided. We'll stop in Islamorada, the “sportfishing capital of the world”, and hand-feed giant tarpon at Robbie's. Evening — a waterfront stroll and pelicans.

Day 4. A morning swim and the road home
One more morning swim and a last breath of Florida Keys air. The drive back along the Overseas Highway across all 42 bridges, stopping for the best shots. A farewell lunch and return to Miami. Catching a flight? We'll adjust the last day to fit.

Starlink the whole way — internet even in national parks with no cell signal. Bisha shoots photos and video, so you'll come home with tons of content, and Danila fixes anything that breaks. We love driving, swimming, exploring and running — if you like an active vacation, you're one of us.
